Price structures describe the relationship between the fixed charge and the usage charge, and the proportion of the total charge that each customer group pays. IPART has reviewed the price structures for the water and sewerage services provided by Sydney Water, Hunter Water, Gosford City Council and Wyong Shire Council. We are concerned that some elements of the price structures for the four utilities may be unfair for some customer groups.

The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is conducting a review of the water and sewerage price structures for the four metropolitan water agencies namely: Sydney Water Corporation,
Advertisement, invitation for submissions on the discussion paper for the review of the price structures for metropolitan water utilities.
