The Hon Greg Pearce MLC, Minister for Finance and Services and Minister for the Illawarra, has declared Sydney Desalination Plant Pty Ltd a monopoly supplier, pursuant to Section 51 of the Water Industry Competition Act 2006. The Minister has written to us requesting that we determine prices for the monopoly services provided by Sydney Desalination Plant. Terms of Reference for the review were provided by the Minister. We are to complete our investigation within 6 months
