IPART has released the draft report and draft determination for the review of fares for private ferries and the Stockton ferry. This applies to regular private ferry services in the central coast, northern rivers and Sydney area, and to the Stockton Ferry which is operated by Newcastle Buses and Ferries. It does not apply to government Sydney Harbour Ferries.
The draft report and accompanying draft determination set out IPART’s draft recommendations for private ferries and draft decision for the Stockton Ferry on the maximum fares that may be charged for these services from January 2014. See draft report, draft determination and media release.
We invite all interested stakeholders to make submissions on the draft report. Submissions are due on Friday 22 November.
