The NSW Government has engaged IPART to develop a framework for evaluating its drought programs. The framework will allow for a consistent assessment of whether these programs are effective, efficient, equitable and complement Commonwealth drought programs. In particular, it will consider whether the programs maintain incentives to invest in drought preparedness measures.
