The Orica Groundwater Treatment Plant is located in Botany, approximately ten kilometres south of the Sydney CBD. Orica Australia Pty Ltd has approval under a Network Operator's Licence (Licence Number 12_016) to operate non-potable water infrastructure for the scheme. The Network Operator's Licence was granted in April 2012, however, as this scheme was a brownfield site it was in commercial operation prior to a licence being granted. Retail supply services for the scheme are also provided by Orica Australia Pty Ltd under a Retail Supplier's Licence (Licence Number 12_017R) granted in April 2012.We completed our 5-year review of the Orica network operator’s and retail supplier’s licences in 2017.
