In December 2024 IPART published the 2023-24 Energy Market Monitoring report. This report included 10 recommendations to improve competition and consumer outcomes in the NSW retailer electricity market.
The Australian Energy Regulator has written to IPART detailing how they have considered and are responding to several of the recommendations in the 2023-24 Energy Market Monitoring report.
