This report, which has been prepared for IPART by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE), assesses the impact of higher bulk water charges on irrigators’ costs and net incomes in the major regulated river valleys in New South Wales. The potential impacts of increasing bulk water charges were assessed using data collected in a survey of irrigation farms. Submissions on this report must be received by no later than COB 7 April 2006.
