The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales (the Tribunal) regulates the charges that the Department of Land and Water Conservation (DLWC) levies for services relating to the delivery of bulk water to farmers, irrigators, industrial users and town water suppliers. The Tribunal’s role is to set the maximum prices DLWC can charge for these services, in accordance with Section 11(1) of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act, 1992. The Tribunal’s Determination will formally apply to the Water Administration Ministerial Corporation which is ministered by DLWC.
