IPART engaged SFG to provide advice on the appropriate cost of capital parameters for Sydney Desalination Plant Pty Ltd. SFG provided IPART with a report on 10 August 2011. The SFG report was peer reviewed by Professor Kevin Davis from the University of Melbourne prior to its submission to IPART. We invite stakeholders to provide preliminary comments on the SFG report and Professor Davis's peer review comments at the public hearing for Sydney Desalination Plant Pty Ltd on 22 August 2011. Stakeholders are also invited to provide written submissions on the reports. Due to the overall time constraints imposed on us by the terms of reference, the deadline for written submissions is Friday 26 August 2011.
