IPART has reviewed Sydney Catchment Authority’s current operating licence. In this review we have considered whether to maintain the terms of the licence, or to amend these terms to improve operational efficiency and regulation. At the same time, we have reviewed the prices Sydney Catchment Authority charges Sydney Water and some Councils. The new charges will apply from 1 July 2012. IPART has examined the Authority’s functions, regulatory requirements and the revenue needed to support these activities in an efficient and effective manner.
