IPART is conducting a review of State Water’s operating licence. Any recommended amendments to the licence are to be submitted to the Minister for Water Utilities by April 2008 for operation from 24 June 2008. The review will assess whether the current operating licence is fulfilling its objectives, whether changes are required as a consequence of the Commonwealth Water Act 2007 and how the licence may be improved.
