IPART undertakes an annual audit of WaterNSW’s compliance with its operating licence. The 2018 audit is the first audit under the 2017-2022 operating licence.
We audit WaterNSW’s compliance with its operating licence as required by the Water NSW Act 2014. We seek stakeholder views on Water NSW performance during the 2018 period (1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018).
IPART initiates the operational audits annually. We seek stakeholder input into WaterNSW’s overall compliance with its licence to determine the audit scope.
Submissions closed on 17 August 2018. Our audit interviews occurred in late October / early November 2018. We provided the audit report to the Minister on 27 February 2019.
Our next audit of WaterNSW’s operating licence will commence in mid-2019.
