We undertake annual audits of Hunter Water’s compliance with its operating licence. The 2021 audit was the fourth audit under the 2017-2022 operating licence.
We audited Hunter Water’s compliance with its operating licence as required by the Hunter NSW Act 1911. We sought stakeholder views on Hunter Water’s performance during the 2021 audit period (1 November 2020 to 31 October 021) to inform our audit scope.
The audit interviews were held in November 2021.
We provided a Report to the Minister for Lands and Water on the 2021 audit on 30 March 2022. We require Hunter Water to report on its progress in implementing the audit recommendations by 30 June 2022.
