We have completed a review of WaterNSW's 2017-2022 operating licence. The 2017-2022 licence expires on 30 June 2022. We have recommended that the Minister for Lands and Water grants WaterNSW a short-term operating licence with a 2-year term. We deferred our end-of-term review of WaterNSW’s operating licence. We made this decision in recognition of the NSW Government’s ongoing policy work, which could affect WaterNSW. We have recommend that the Minister grants WaterNSW a 2–year interim licence on similar terms and conditions to the existing licence.
