Sydney Water Corporation - Prices of Water Supply Sewerage and Drainage Services - Medium term price path from 1 July 1996

This determination is based on Sydney Water’s business plan with respect to current and anticipated water and wastewater quality requirements over the next four years. Environmental objectives, standards and associated license conditions continue to evolve. Should there be an unanticipated significant change in such quality requirements which impact on Sydney Water during the price cap period, then Sydney Water may seek to re-open this determination. The mid-term review in 1998 may provide a good opportunity to consider whether the quality or other fundamental parameters underpinning this determination have or are likely to change to such an
extent that this determination needs to be reviewed.
