The Barangaroo scheme is located in the Sydney CBD. The original licence and licensee company, granted to Lend Lease Recycled Water (Barangaroo South) Pty Ltd, was sold to Barangaroo Recycled Water Pty Ltd (CPERW) in 2023. CPERW has approval under a Network Operator's Licence (Licence Number 15_029) to operate potable water, non-potable water and sewerage infrastructure for the scheme. The Network Operator's Licence was granted in February 2015 with commercial operation commencing in April 2016. Retail supply services for the scheme are also provided by CPERW under a Retail Supplier's Licence (Licence Number 15_034R) granted in July 2015.
