Kyeema Wastewater Pty Ltd has applied for a Network Operator’s Licence (NOL) and a Retail Supplier’s Licence (RSL). The application is for the provision of sewerage infrastructure and the retailing of sewerage services to a 50 lot subdivision at Gundaroo, NSW. The scheme will collect, transfer and treat wastewater and irrigate the treated effluent on-site.

The proposed scheme is located within the Yass Valley Council local government area at Gundaroo. The proposed area of operations is identified on the map.
We assess each application against the criteria outlined in section 10(4) of the Water Industry Competition Act 2006 (WIC Act) to determine if the Minister should grant a licence.
The public consultation period was 11 December 2019 to 12 February 2020 inclusive.
We hve considered feedback from stakeholders and have made a recommendation to the Minister on whether to grant a network operator’s licence and a retail supplier’s licence. Our recommendation included proposed licence conditions.
