IPART policy statement – Approach to major periodic maintenance (MPM) in assessing compliance with the ceiling test

This statement sets out the Tribunal’s policy on the appropriate measure for major periodic maintenance (MPM) cost in assessing compliance with the ceiling test, following consultation undertaken as part of its 2005/06 review. This policy is reflected in the IPART Guidelines on the NSW Rail Access Undertaking Annual Review of Compliance (revised August 2007).
