Today Transport for NSW (TfNSW) accepted IPART’s recommendations on maximum fares in 2016 for seven private ferry operators that provide regular passenger ferry services under contract to TfNSW in the Sydney, Central Coast and North Coast areas of NSW. Fares for Sydney Ferries are being determined as part of a separate review.
Maximum fares for the private ferry services covered by this review will increase by up to 30 cents in 2016. More information on these services and our recommendations is provided in our final report.
