IPART has completed its 2008 review of private ferry fares under section 9 of the IPART Act and has recommended fare increases to the Minister for Transport. IPART has also reviewed fares for the Newcastle (Stockton) ferry service under section 11 of the IPART Act and made a determination on the increased fare to apply from 4 January 2009.
