IPART has released the draft report and draft determination for the review of fares for metropolitan and outer metropolitan bus services from January 2014. This applies to government and private bus services in Sydney, Newcastle, the Central Coast, Wollongong, the Blue Mountains and the Hunter regions.
The draft report and accompanying draft determination set out IPART’s draft decisions on the maximum fares that may be charged for these services over the next 4 years. See draft report, draft determination, fact sheet and media release.
We invite all interested stakeholders to make submissions to the draft report. Submissions are due on Friday 25 October.
We are also holding a public hearing on Tuesday 15 October at our office in Sydney. All interested parties are welcome to attend but we ask that you register in advance. See full consultation details below.
