The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) today released an Issues Paper on its review of rents for domestic waterfront tenancies. The last major review of these rents was undertaken by IPART in 2004.
Owners of residential waterfront properties pay rent to the NSW Government to occupy and use publicly owned submerged or reclaimed land, which is usually adjacent to their property. These arrangements are known as domestic waterfront tenancies.
