IPART has released an Issues Paper for a review of the prices councils will pay for land valuation services provided by the NSW Valuer-General from 1 July 2014.
The issues paper released for public comment canvasses the approach IPART proposes to take to this review, and seeks input into the best way to set land valuation charges. The current cost of these services is about 0.8% of the average residential council rate in NSW.
