The Premier requested that the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) undertake a review of state taxation in New South Wales. The review looked at ways to improve the efficiency, equity, competitiveness, simplicity and transparency of NSW taxes. IPART has made 29 recommendations to Government on how to make NSW taxes simpler, more efficient and competitive with other states.
