Social, demographic and commercial changes over the last ten years have affected the registered clubs industry in many ways. The ability of individual clubs to meet the needs of members and the community, while continuing to be financially viable differs depending on size, location, and many other factors. IPART has examined registered clubs’ role in their communities, their contribution to the provision of social infrastructure and services, their financial viability, and ways that they can strengthen their performance and financial viability. This Final Report discusses IPART’s findings and makes recommendations to enhance clubs’ social contributions and improve the financial viability of the industry.
