The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is seeking feedback on its draft report Review of multi-peril crop insurance incentive measures. Our draft finding is that government measures to support multi-peril crop insurance could increase crop farmers’ self-reliance during droughts, but not enough to reduce other government drought assistance.
