This Fact Sheet summarises IPART’s Draft Report and lists our draft recommendations for our review of licensing in NSW. The Draft Report reviews licences in NSW and prioritises where reform would produce the most red tape savings. Our recommended reforms of priority licences are expected to reduce red tape to individuals and businesses by between $117 million and $130 million per year.
The Fact Sheet also highlights key findings from our stocktake of licences and explains that a Licensing Framework has been developed as a tool for regulators to use to review existing or new licensing schemes.
