IPART has designed an analytical framework by which it can assess current and future climate change mitigation programs in NSW. Government has agreed that the CPRS is to be Australia's principal means of mitigating the effects of climate change. IPART applied it analytical framework to 26 NSW mitigation programs in order to recommend those that should be retained, in whole or in part, even after the introduction of the CPRS those that should not.
