The Premier asked the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales (the Tribunal) to investigate and report on the Ambulance Service’s current revenue and charging structures, and develop a cost index to quantify changes in the cost of providing its medical and transport services. The aim of this review was to recommend how the sustainability of the Service’s funding can be improved.
