IPART has released decisions on applications made by 13 councils to increase general income above the 2.3% rate peg from 1 July 2018. We have approved increases for Ballina, Balranald, Bellingen, Clarence Valley, Hawkesbury, Kempsey, Lismore, Randwick and Shoalhaven councils. We have approved in part applications from Kiama and Muswellbrook councils for temporary increases for one year, while the applications from Upper Hunter and Willoughby councils have not been approved.
