Lodge an application for assessment of a contributions plan
If your council is preparing a contributions plan that will need to be assessed by IPART, we encourage you to contact us to discuss the plan and the assessment process as early as possible.

Contribution Plan applications should be submitted through IPART's Local Government Council Portal.
If you have not used the portal before you will first need to register the council. Please email localgovernment@ipart.nsw.gov.au with: the council name, name and email address for the user (‘council admin’), job title and phone number or call (02) 9113 7730.
We will create your account and you will receive an email from the portal with log-in details asking you to reset your password before first log-in.

Your application should include:
- Application Form
- Contributions plan for assessment
- All relevant supporting documentation
