IPART is currently reviewing regulated standard tariffs and charges for small retail gas customers in NSW. The existing voluntary transitional pricing arrangements (VTPAs) agreed between IPART and the standard gas retail suppliers expire on 30 June 2010. The NSW Minister for Energy has requested that IPART continue to regulate standard tariffs for small retail gas customers and ensure that either new VTPAs or gas pricing orders are in place for the period from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2013.
ActewAGL has submitted its final pricing proposal for non-tariffs fees and charges as part of its VTPA. IPART is seeking stakeholder submissions on the proposal by 26 February 2010.
