Draft Report - Review of regulated retail prices and charges for gas 2013 to 2016 - April 2013

IPART is responsible for regulating retail gas prices for around a third of residential and small business customers in NSW. We have invited the gas Standard Retailers to propose new pricing agreements for the period 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2016, and considered those agreements. We have broadly agreed to each of these proposals, although we have requested some specific changes. This report sets out our draft decisions, and explains how we reached those decisions. It also provides an estimate of the average price increase for 2013/14, and sets out how we will agree on prices for the second and third year closer to that time.
