IPART is proposing to amend its 2004 Determination at Rule 2004 clause 2.1 which concerns the test that DNSPs must satisfy if IPART is to approve a departure from the network price limits.
The purpose of the amendment is to relax one aspect of the test so that DNSPs can recover large expected under balances in their transmission unders and overs accounts in the final year of the current Determination. It is likely that EnergyAustralia will be the only DNSP to be affected by the proposed rule change.
IPART invites your comment on the proposed rule change, to be received by 20 May 2008.
