In June 2013 IPART released a determination on regulated retail electricity prices from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2016. We undertook to update these prices in 2014 and 2015 to account for changes in the electricity market. On the 7th April the Minister for Resources and Energy notified IPART of the NSW Governments decision to deregulate electricity prices from 1 July 2014. The effect of this decision is that IPART will not make pricing determinations in 2014 and 2015.
