In repsonse to the draft report to the 2009 market based electricity purchase cost allowance review the Minister for Energy requested IPART's advise on how to alleviate the impact of the proposed price increases on customers. IPART commissioned NATSEM to provide income information on hypothetical households, including single and couple aged pensioners and a single parent pensioner with two children. This report explains and reports the data.
