The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of NSW (the Tribunal) makes this rule as the jurisdictional regulator under clause 6.10.1(f) of the National Electricity Code. This rule is to be referred to as the “Charges for monopoly services Rule 2000/1” and applies to all distribution network service providers (DNSPs) in New South Wales. It replaces Rule 99/4 and will remain in force until revoked by the Tribunal but may be amended or supplemented by the Tribunal from time to time.
