The Minister for Energy has directed IPART to conduct a review of the licences in force under the Electricity Supply Act 1995 (NSW). This includes the licences held by Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy and Transgrid (Network Operators).
We have now completed the review of the licences and provided our recommendations in a final report to the Minister, who is responsible for varying the conditions of a licence if appropriate.
